PS I've been on bookboards that have been discussing the recent news that
Oprah is discontinuing her book club, and that the Today Show (I think) is
going to start one up. One person suggested that it'd be great if the new
book club read Salinger and got him to appear on the show.
I said he'd choke himself to death on his own tongue first.
