    That doesn’t impress me, Mark.  Any more than does
    my own seventy years on this planet.  (Since you ask.)
    But in the course of that relatively long life I too
    have 'worked with' - to use your own rather pompous
    phrase - a great many of the sexually abused.
    Not just boys - girls & men & women too.

    I think I know how most of them would feel about
    someone who hopes to introduce a moment of hush
    by mentioning his own high calling - quite irrelevantly -
    into an enjoyable bar room squabble between two
    dry-drunk writers.  (It's what most of them do most
    of the time anyway - certainly in this corner of the world.)
