Well, precisely. That's always been what's bothered me about Wordsworth.
He's too self-involved, too interested in HIS reactions to the nature
around him rather than communing with it in truth.

Aesthetically speaking, the man can string words together beautifully, but
I cannot love him, or even like him, because I think it's all about him.
It rings falsely in my Tintern ear.
