I felt the same way as Jaime did with Tender is the Night... and I am
a big Fitzgerald fan. I think with Tender is the Night Fitgerald just sort
of lost his genius... He stepped from the extreme living of an artist to a
sad man... it shows in his work, I think. I am currently reading Zen and the
Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, and The God of Small Things. Have any of you
read it? It's by , and her language is amazing. It's close to being
gimmicky, but just this side of the line in such a sad story that it works
very well. (All of us being fans of well-placed italics and such...) I just
finished of Mice and Men, The Monkeywrench Gang, and Heyduke Lives!
