One more thing:
I just visited the website and typed "meaning" into the FreeFind search
engine (the first one offered on the page) and a fairly long list of entries
appeared. I typed in "language" and an even longer list appeared. To be fair
to Scottie, the second, JavaScript search engine is limited specifically to
names and titles on the site and offers a list of available topics if you
click on the search button before entering a term. My guess is Scottie was
using that second one but not typing in a name or a title.
Sometimes research, like reading, requires at least a little effort.
Anyway, there a number of texts transcribed at
http://www.hydra.umn.edu/derrida/content.html (part of the same site) which
speak directly to all of these issues, both in introductory ways and in more
advanced terms. Some are interviews (like the Villanova conversations) and
some are hypertexts and studies (like the Glasweb) and some are excerpts from
published material. Those willing to read can still feel free to venture in
and also to click on the bibliography heading on the original page for a more
thorough list of suggested readings.
Thanks,
--John
