RE your point number two, I did read an article, biographical in intent,
that did say Blake used to walk around his Garden nude with his wife,
reading passages to her from Paradise Lost. Or maybe the entire thing, I
don't recall. But there wasn't a story about anyone "catching them" at
it.
I wish I still had it. It was a wonderful article, along the lines of
"why I love Billy Blake," and the man was obviously well read on the
subject.
