I'm happy to say that it's finally gone to the chief censors in Australia and looks set for release in a few months time (though cinematically or on cable I don't know) I'm glad to hear it's faithful to the book because, while I liked Kubrick's `Lolita', that's just what it was - Kubrick's `Lolita'. There seemed to be so little of the delicate beauty balanced with black depravity that characterised Nabokov's approach to the subject. As for recent movies ... about an hour ago I was asleep and dreaming. I was at the Oscars with my old English teacher and we were watching `Shakespeare in Love' on a big stage that was designed to look like the Globe Theatre (: Camille verona_beach@geocities.com @ THE ARTS HOLE http://www.geocities.com/Hollywood/Theater/6442 @ THE INVERTED FOREST http://www.angelfire.com/pa/invertedforest
