I'm rather sick of all the generalizations made out of the highschool/teenage experience (and yes they are generalizations). Yea, there's a lot of personal opinion on this for me. I hate being a teenager (I'm newly 15) high school's been a terrible experience for me so far. A lot of people can say the same. But if, according to some on this list, it's only going to get harder then why don't we all shoot ourselves in our right temple with an Ortgies calibre 7.65 now? High school has to be better then this, it just has to be. I can understandably see why some people love high school and reflect upon it with a warm fuzzy feeling, but I hope I never do. This has probably been said already (in so many words) but everyone has their own individual opinion and experiences regarding this time in their lives, so lets all let it be. And, you can get audio tapes of Lolita read by Jeremy Irons (seriously). There's a subscription on the very last page of the grey/black book. 12 hours, 12 cassettes. For those who don't have it the number 1-800-726-0600. $39.95 plus 6.00 shipping and handling. Saw Shakespeare In Love (and Life is Beautiful) for the second time, yesterday. Weren't the theatres names The Rose and The Curtain in the movie? Isn't it supposed to be The Globe? And I thought The Thin Red Line and thought it was very poetic, but that was something I didn't like about it. Not even sure why I've mentioned that, but hey don't have friends so replace them with movies -my passion. High school is great, isn't it? love-Erinn
