Alas, no. Decades ago I owned The Way of a Pilgrim & The Pilgrim Continues His Way. They were bound together (as opposed to the two separate books in _F&Z_) in a hardback edition, the cloth was green. But I don't know if I would swear it was pea-green. Can't recall publisher, etc. I left it on a bus.
Re Franny is/is not F.G.: Odd there is no surname for Franny in _F_; everyone else seems to have one. She respects her brothers (no mention of a sister). RHTRBC officially introduced the Glass Family ten or so months later. Did the Eureka! happen in spring/summer '55? Or did they _all_ exist since at least '48 with Bfish and Dinghy?
To end: "I [Buddy] say that my current offering [_Zooey_] isn't a mystical story, or a religiously mystifying story, at all. _I_ say it's a compound, or multiple, love story, pure and complicated."

PS: After writing this and logging on, Tim's two posts appeared. Congrats on seeing the actual pea-green volume and thanks for that insight re i.e. crazy. I read F.'s perplexing letter 30 minutes ago and once again mistook the meaning.
