You could burst out in a happy and relieving laughter, turning the class

outmost impact on modern life?
I would, probably, fondle my knotted tie and take the opportunity to discuss
pre-fabs and the immanent danger of using them out of context. Ten minutes
later, I'd have to ask the students what we were talking about in the first
place.
