Well, Jim, what shall I say? Sorry, that you feel this way? Surely, you have
been too privileged and give me too much credit?
As you noted, I wasn't really trying, and on this list at least, I try to
practice austerities.
On reflection, you might find that Lucy Ruth might just have been expressing
her delight merely at some comic relief, and perhaps Zooey's parodying.
I think I'll refrain from offering gratuitous advice on how to deal with
peevishness but perhaps some advice from Occam needs to be heeded.
If 'personal attacks' or insults, real or perceived, are encountered,
perhaps
a reality check is in order? Perhaps there is a simple explanation?
Of course, any of that does not absolve me of any of my sins,
