You also went on to say language was, to postmoderns, irrational, cubist, and
as a result Derrida et al couldn't "say anything with a straight face" (which
isn't true), all of which seems to imply that you thought their view of
language was that it couldn't communicate meaning.
If that's Not what you meant, though, feel free to clarify.
