Well, I myself save these in a special folder for later reading, since the
text mass is just to heavy for my office reading. The subject is immensely
fascinating, and I think a place like the bananafish bowl is perfect, since
Salinger in my view should (does?) attract just the right mixture of…
religiously interested… people of different sorts. No matter what Scottie
says.
I agree that there is a little too much of those condescending little
outbursts. I do hope our Robbie doesn't get tired of writing all those
intelligent essays. I know Jim doesn't.
Keep up the work, and let it be good!
