Thanks everyone for your input. I've always heard of
the novel, but never really took an interest until I
was looking at my friend's Rage agaisnt the
machine's(not even one of my favorite bands)"battle of
Los Angeles", and there was a collage with a picture
of "tropic of cancer" which got me to check it out at
the bookstore. I read the back and a few pages of the
intro and I was just hooked. it's funny and great when
books do that I think. Also, thanks for everyone's
suggestions on other henry miller books, I'm sure I'll
check them out in the future:)
