So far I'm lucky but last year I was thrown back with

I'm *so glad* I live here - I can do that stuff at the
drop of a hat, as well as explore the reaches of
Queens and Brooklyn. Do other New Yorker
Bananafishers agree?
And like I said, I never see any ducks, only Canada
geese...and they *do not* leave us with *what is best
about Canada* at all if you get my drift.
A larger fishers meeting here would be great. Maybe
we could even hit some jazz club to see a pianist and
his/her rhythm do "all the tricky [showoff] stuff".

Was there in April '76. I'd love to go back and see
the rest of the Art Institutes 20th Ct. collection,
listen to whatever remains of the local blues scene,
and ride/photograph all the 'els' - one thing I am in
my alternative to Bananafishlist life is a transit
history/operations buff.
Wishing your continued speedy and healthy recovery,
- Ed
