Lucy,
Thanks for your support, you *are* right about the
communal aspect here. Maybe I shouldn't worry so much
about it after all. My reasons for wanting to
continue off list were not due to privacy concerns so
much as being self conscious that I would not be
adding to, and might be detracting from, the ongoing
discussion that other Fishers had started.
I see now that maybe a such a posting, which, in
its content, may address some peripheral aspect of the
ongoing discussion, could hopefully be perceived as
beginning a separate thread rather than an
interruption, that some of the same people might, if
they wanted, contribute to.
Right now though, I'm also going to probably sit
out and read or skim the posts in this discussion for
awhile. It's Monday morning at, and my mailbox is
overflowing with these long postings, which I'll have
to skim through rather than read carefully (which is
what one should probably do, in order to respond to
them intelligently.
