Well, if you think (as I always sort of have) that the glass is what separates us from spiritual enlightment, it makes sense. If Seymour "sees more glass" he realizes that the possiblity to reach an enlightened stage is all around us, not just in a church for example. He's then a step ahead of everyone. Peggy
