A gauloise will do quite nicely...I wish I could enter some of the
discussion about critical response but I'm time twisted and doing
exactly that in the afterword to Letters to Salinger where I'm trying
to say that what readers do and say with literature in their lives is
where the critical insights are best...and Chris K and I are working
hard to make the book balanced and offer a wide spectrum of reading
responses to Salinger...back to work and thanks for the light,
