I'm not sure what you mean by "fully appreciate"
I do, however, think that Holden was struggling with some of the very ugly
parts of male sexuality unique to males that perhaps women may not be able
to understand.......
Of course, as with all these posts, they probably reveal more about the
ones posting than about the book's characters.
