Butterfly Press?

Sorry, in advance, that this doesn't have much to do with JDS.
Have any of you aspiring writers sent out any query letters only to receive
a letter from something called "Butterfly Press" in Georgia? A writer
friend of mine did, recently, and the letter said they were running a
contest with a $25,000 first prize and asking for submissions. The whole
thing sounded a bit suspicious, and several web searches have yielded no
info on the company (although there is a Butterfly Press in Florida)
I'm sure the thing is a hoax of some sort, but was wondering if anyone on
the list had heard of such a thing. Feel free to respond to me offline so
as not to steer the discussion away from the topics at hand (which, I'm
happy to say, have made for very stimulating reading lately, the faux
Salinger controversy excepted, even if I haven't had the oppurtunity to
jump in.)
