did anyone see the article in time magazine about the whole joyce maynard
thing? it was in the issue with tom cruise and nicole kidman on the
front...anyway, it was very strange, because time took a very pro-maynard
approach to the whole thing, making points like "if you want to be a
recluse, the last thing you should do is become a writer, and if you
absolutely have to, you shouldn't PUBLISH it!" (paraphrase)

very weird...
