We can't pull our reclusive friend out of our online hat, but *can* take the opportunity to request, politely, that the personal attacks stop HERE, and now. Take them to email, or take a few deep breaths, but please, this is not a place for this thread to continue. Scottie says things, sometimes provocatively, and he stirs up what has occasionally been a moribund conversation. So does Thor. I value both their contributions, and was delighted to see Scottie re-emerge after a brief hiatus. (Though Scottie, you win from me no special concern based on your age; you are as verbally nimble as almost anyone with whom I've corresponded, and I suspect that your powers of self-defense are as good as ever. <*grin*>) This latest bit was amusing at first, but I'd like to respectfully ask it to stop. It's getting ugly, pointless, and demeaning to everyone involved. I think we can keep a cleaner house than that. Cheers, and end of public-service announcement. --tim o'connor
