I don't think so and I know for a fact that a lot of other people don't think so. So he or she must downgrade to at least 99%. Which begs the question I've asked all along: does it really matter? I'm gonna sound like a real phony but it seems a characteristic Section man (or indeed woman) thing to think. I often shudder at the damage inferior English teachers do on great literature. `Othello' is forever ruined for me for that reason. One of the other teachers at my school taught her class that Romeo and Juliet starred the Capulets and the Montages (R&J by Eisenstein !?(: ) Then again, I guess it's the price we have to pay for the brilliant teachers who teach us to learn and love literature we otherwise wouldn't have been interested in. Catcher in the Rye isn't much studied in schools over here. I'm glad. Very glad. (P.S. I wish I was the sort of person who could be 100% sure of *anything* (: ) Camille verona_beach@geocities.com @ THE ARTS HOLE http://www.geocities.com/Hollywood/Theater/6442 @ THE INVERTED FOREST http://www.angelfire.com/pa/invertedforest
