Yes, in a sense, but remember that Branagh's "official text" is a
conflation of different versions of the play, namely the second quarto
and the 1623 Folio.  And most stage productions, including (and
especially) those in Elizabethan/Jacobean England, routinely cut
significant chunks of longer plays...
