I read the underpublished Salinger story, "The Last Day of the Last Furlogh", and I enjoyed it immensely. It was classic Salinger. There were a lot of Catcher elements in the story which made it even more enjoyable. The main character was a lot like Holden, his little sister Maddy was a lot like Phoebe, and I could sense a lot of Seymour qualities in Vincent. It is a shame that Salinger never published it because I thought that it had a lot of merit. It would have easily made a great addition to Salinger's 9 Stories. -Liz Friedman _________________________________________________________ DO YOU YAHOO!?
