Welcome Jake!  Though I haven't dipped into Hapwroth for a while, I do
have a fondness for it--I think Salinger says a lot about writing in this
story...if you have interlibrary loan and want to read an essay I wrote
about the story..."Text as Salinger Go-Between in 'Hapworth 16, l924'" in
_Roofbeam_, Spring, l998...I don't know if Roofbeam's publisher is still
on our list but you may still be able to get a copy of the magazine...will
