I must attach my name to the list of people bidding goodbye to Brendan. I've appreciated his involvement and have seen him more than once stimulate a conversation into the stratosphere. It's unfortunate that he won't see any of these little tributes until I get a chance to assemble them on the web page, but I think he knows what kind of reaction he will get. (He sent me a private note, and I expressed my great regrets.) But on the other hand, I like his sense of priorities, and if he feels the need to choose between list life and real life, he's made a good decision. As he said, he can always check on the course of conversation by reviewing the web archive. I also popped Colby a copy of the digest he's missing. (Colby, please tell me privately if you fail to get it.) Cheers to everyone.... --tim
