I'll tell you one thing though, in this very ideolotically narrow country, there are a great many reactionaries who consider the greatest intellectual of our time, wacky. So, I wanted to state for sure, that I for one, did not buy into such crappy perceptions. <snip> > I said Cambridge cafes ( I was actually refferring to one in my memory a > few blocks from your good buddy Noam's office) The reference certainly wasn't > to the Harvard Club or the Parker House. > Because they are Cambridge cafes near Noam's office, as opposed to Bostonian super snob ones, that doesn't mean they aren't snobby. :P~ <snip> > I can't wonder if this is actually you Noam responding to my post, as you > seem to be quite upset. Er, because, it ain't Noam's style to care about shit that doesn't matter (i.e. name tag incidents at right wing political events). --AK p.s. EMILY! Have you left Brown yet? If so, I'm pissed I didn't find the time to come up to visit, certainly I will try and get a weekend in up there next semester. I'm thinking of transferring to Columbia, believe it or not (as opposed to my other two considerations: Sarah Lawrence and Eugene Lang). The fact that it's Ivy makes me feel guilty as all hell for even seriously considering it though, for obvious reasons to you because I'm pretty sure that ya know me real well by now and all that. Call me if ya can when and if ya read this. :P~
