Well, yes of course. I, like Holden, was exaggerating when I spoke of
blocked views and lousy with Holdens. Most people don't run around
Manhattan with the book in their back pocket, but nearly everyone I know
who loves The Catcher in the Rye goes to Central Park to look for the
pond.
