Raymond,
Thanks for the great review at Amazon. I'm sorry about the high price. The
book actually costs me $4.69 to get printed and Amazon gets 4.84 for each book
they sell. I've listed a few copies in their 'Sell Yours Here' section for
$9.99. (they only take 15% and .99 there) Every time Amazon orders books from
me I have to ship them Priority mail. Yesterday I sent them 2 books and the
postage was $5.00. I know, I know: Quit crying! I still have about 125
books from the first run (with typos and all) and I'm giving them away to anyone
who e-mails me from the book excerpt page at ToreALauraLaura.com. All they
have to do is write Salinger in the subject line and send me their name, address
and age. As I've told you before: I wrote Tore A Laura, Laura! to have it
read. I honestly don't care if I make a penny on it. I just want someone to
READ the damn thing! BTW: I still HAVEN'T made a penny! I really just wanted
to again thank you for the great review at Amazon and I've spent the whole
letter 'splaining away your criticism. I'm such an asshole!
