    But in what way does the use of the phrase
    'use correct grammar' offer us a demonstration 
    of premature giftedness?    

    It must be an example of the power that Steven
    attributes to ambiguity.  Perhaps it will one 
    day achieve the popularity that he also tells us 
    e-mail has given to the ellipse.  ('a symmetrical 
    closed curve traced by a point moving in a plane 
    so that the sum of its distances from two other
