Jennifer/Will, et al,

I may be foolishly rushing in where angels (or even Brewers) fear to tread,
but you'll probably find W. P. Kinsella almost as tight-lipped about his
literary sources/influences as The Scourge of Cornish. There are folks up
here who foolishly try to claim him as a "Canadian" author--because he's
lived in British Columbia since his draft dodging days, and writes sad
stories about native Canadians when he's not creating baseball fiction. But
since he's also gained something of a reputation as more than a bit of a
grinch, I think we'll let him keep his Arkansas citizenship.

He's real, though. VERY real. But I think the overlapping names are mere
coincidence.
