Next time I'm in heavy rain I'll use ALL the buttons and think to myself, 
"Boo Boo wouldn't have to do this" :)

I'm not sure what to do with the shoulder piece either, but it does provide 
added protection and gives the whole thing a Wyatt Earpish flavor ;)
