I just told her to get the 1999 writer's market, find an agent if you have a book manuscript, following the guidelines in the writer's market for query letters and a sample chapter, and present the nicest looking product you can. Part of the query letter is to establish your credibility as a writer as well as introduce the piece you want read. MATCH YOUR WORK WITH THE AGENT...look at what kind of authors they publish. You can also find links to a lot of online resources at...ahem...my website... http://members.aol.com/antiutopia/main.htm follow the links. Jim
