My mom said that when I was in the second grade, I wrote some 1 or 2 page story about a caterpillar or something and that she thought I was going to be a writer. But, I don't think writing has to always be so down and depressing. Mr. Salinger hates movies because they're phony, which I agree they are, but a movie is supposed to be an escape. There are good and bad films as there are good and bad movies, at least I feel so. And there are even some films that can seem so powerful in one way or another.
