I finished _Almost Heaven_ last night--that M. Wiggins novel with Holden
Garfield as the central character...I thought the book was quite fine and
loved the way weather became a character but I can't really report much
about Holden C echoing in Holden G. Wiggins does work through some
psychological wounds in the novel that made me touch on Esme and Holden
in Catcher...I wondered what Scottie would think of this book since he's
got some good understanding of how the brain works and that's a key part
of the book, but I also wondered what he would think of Wiggins's use of
sentence fragrments, all caps, and other broken rules of writing...
