Kim, YOU ROCK! I have mentioned Berryman to a few folks and it seems
as if he's one of those fine writers falling between time's cracks. I
really enjoyed your post and ironically, my new business cards came
today so I threw out the "Assistant Professor" cards.
Berryman seemed pretty kind hearted about academics trampling through
his poems--I wish our man Jerry had a similar feeling for his learned
readers but I'm not complaining--there's always bananafish swimming
good ideas in this bowl and yours consistently bowl me over!
