> Have you seen any of Linklater's other movies? I've seen all of them (just saw > Suburbia the other day) and I think they are all great. I've seen all of them except `Slacker', and `The Newton Boys' which in this country is a bit difficult to get ahold of. I loved his early stuff but I felt Slacker's obvious genesis as a stage play detracted from it a bit. It was difficult to fault the mastery of his direction; I just thought the material wasn't up to scratch. The Newton Boys I haven't seen yet though I've heard it's somewhat of a noble failure. Hey, you know the guy who played the main character in Dazed & Confused? He's got this incredible webpage I once visited full of his way out writings ... I'll have to dig up the URL and send it to you. Have you ever seen a movie called `The Clock', starring Judy Garland and Robert Taylor? I only ask because `Before Sunrise' was semi-based on its premise and I really enjoyed it as it has a real `Catcher' flavour to it (they even visit the Museum together!) If it comes on TV or whatever I highly reccommend it.
