I just reread A Perfect Day For Bananafish today and I noticed something 
that I didn´t notice before... Sybil´s last name is Carpenter... 

And I couldn´t help thinking of Raise High The Roofbeam, Carpenters... 
Sybil´s roofbeam seems to be high, in that she doesn´t seem to think 
Seymour is just a tiny bit odd... I always thought he was a strange guy, 
but of course I liked him anyway... 

I don´t know, it was just a strange thought that occured to me...
