Subject: Suggest a Play

A friend of mine is writing a film script, and wants to include a scene from
a play. She wants the scene to depict a strong, upper middle class woman --
not aristocracy, but still wealthy. She was thinking of something along the
lines of Chekov, but is open to anything.
Any suggestions?
