Scottie,
I haven't lived in Bristol very long, I'm just starting my second term
at uni. And you know the ivory towerness of first year undergraduates.
Maybe I have met Jews, unknowingly. But, no Jewish acquaintances, and
Darlington, where I originate from, doesn't have a visible Jewish
community. SO, people are too busy attacking blacks and southerners to
be anti-semitic (it's not really that grim. Actually, prejudice has
always seemed fairly low, although possibily that's because there are
few ethnic minorities of any kind).
I was hoping to find a bit of a cultural mix when i came to uni. So
far, no luck. I guess I need to venture out into the big bad city a bit
more.
Love, Lucy-Ruth
