Matt, could you give me the modern library collection info? I'm surprised
that the PMGME got antholoigzed and that JDS said ok...
Warren French lists Salinger Short Stories in Anthologies as:
Cosmopolitian reprinted "The Inverted Forest" in a "Diamond
Jubilee" collection ten or 15 years after the original publication in
Cosmopolitan...
"A Boy in France" in _Post Stories, l942-45_
"A Girl I knew" was published in _Best American Short Stories of l949_
"The Long Debut of Lois Taggett" was collected in _Story:The Fiction of
the Forties_
"Raise High" made it into _Short Stories from the New Yorker, l950-1960_
"This Sandwhich Has No Mayonanaise" in _The Armchair Esquire_.
"A Perfect Day for Bananafish" was collected in _55 Short Stories from the
New Yorker_
"Uncle Wiggily in Connecticut" was collected in _Short Story Masterpieces_

Although I haven't seen it, I think he reprinted one of hi s early
_Colliers_ or _Saturday Evening Pos_t pieces in a US Army _Kit Book_.
