With that GPA and THOSE test scores (good lord -- any 800 is impressive as
anything), you'd be an "admit" for sure, I think.

Now, you have to realize, I'm just the first stage of the process. There are
at least three other people who review the folder. But within the parameters
I'm given to work with, you are an admit. If we get more admits than we have
the ability to admit, then other factors come into play. Even regional
factors -- how many people from a specific area are coming into our college
-- come into play. If we had, say, 300 admits from the northeast but only
two from the south, we'd be more likely to kick out a northeastern admit in
favor of a southern admit.

Drew is a relatively small, private university.
