First, I sent this one out already, but I never received it, so
now Iīm trying again... Sorry, if everyone else got it already...
I, Abra, originally said:

I didnīt say I thought he was a GENIUS (Iīll get back to that in a short
while) - only that I wouldnīt argue against it... I meant argue against
other
people calling him that... I donīt know what Iīd call him myself, but
heīs definately one of the best songwriters in the 90s imo...

Well, Bob, since English is not my native language (Iīm Danish), I think
Iīm allowed a few spelling errors once in a while... And donīt "honey"
me
unless youīre female, which I somehow doubt...
Sean Draine:

Again, thatīs not what I meant... Sorry if I wasnīt really clear in that
other post... I take it as a strike against him as a
human being... As an artist heīll live on, I think that is obvious...

I have never actually heard Leadbellyīs version, only several cover
versions,
of which I think Nirvanaīs/Cobainīs is the best...

Well, Iīm still young I think... Iīm only 27... Yes, Kurt is dead, so is
John Lennon, but his work lives on as well... And I think itīs because
of Kurtīs work that he keeps popping up...
In the sense of releasing new material you could also say that Salinger
is
dead (I know - Iīm gonna get it for this one...) But his WORK lives
on...
Last, but not least:
Thanks, Sean, for posting the suicide note...
"it's better to burn out, than fade away."
I canīt say I understand him now, but I understand what was going
through
his head... I still think there was another possibility, though...
Peter Green turned away from music when the fame became too much, when
he didnīt enjoy it anymore... Why couldnīt Kurt do so??? I donīt know,
and I donīt think Iīll *ever* know... But I still love Nirvanaīs stuff
(canīt say the same about Foo Fighters, though...)
