Dear List:
For those of you who remember our subscriber Camille Scaysbrook, who
left the list to concentrate on writing, I hereby pass along, with
her permission, an interesting bit of news that will bring joy to the
hearts of those of us who live in NYC.
If you don't know who Camille is, you might want to skip the rest of
this message. I'm a bit tardy in sending this along, but I have to
say that when I got it, it was probably the best news I had had all
that day.
It's always nice to welcome another fish -- or fish-emeritus -- to the city.

Hello everyone,
First of all, apologies for the form letter - second, apologies if you
receive this twice, and third - apologies if you have no idea what's
going on and happened to be in my address book. Such is the nature of
the internet.
This is just a quick note to let you all know that on the 29th of June
I'll be leaving for THE BIG APPLE! Simon (better half) and I will be
based there for the next five months as he undertakes his internship at
the TJ Watson Research Lab at IBM, White Plains, New York.
Our address will be:
74 Gainsborg Ave
West Harrison, NY 10604
I haven't got a phone number just yet - we have got email access though.
Contact me on either of my usual addresses, verona_beach@hotpop.com or
the_globe@hotmail.com (the latter is the most reliable).
When Simon finishes his internship we will be doing a bit of travelling
within America and then going home via various stops in Europe (my
criteria has been anywhere where the flight takes less than 10 hours :)
). We'll be back around January next year.
And yes, I'm petrified.
(All of those who have done Europe three times over are laughing down
your sleeves now, I know)
Those of you on this side of the world - I'd love to meet up before I
get going. Dinner, drinkies, movies - I'm up for all of them, let's work
something out!
For those in the Northern Hemisphere (and there are quite a few) - when
do we start the Holden Caulfield tour around Central Park ??? :)
Either way, I guess I'll see many of you soonish!
All the best to you all (especially those who have been deafened by my
silence recently)
Camille
