Sonny:
"Microsoft programmers in general are alleged to suffer from a serious
paucity of intelligence, howsoever defined)."

I been surrounded by smarty-pants's all my life - private college prep
highschool, Ivy League college, PhD program in cognitive science - but I've
never before seen such an intense concentration of brain power, "howsoever
defined", as in my present place of employment.

A simple brain teaser: You are crossing a railroad bridge that spans a deep
ravine. When you are 1/4 of the way across, you notice a train coming from
behind. If you try to run across the rest of the bridge, the train will hit
you just as you reach the other side. If you try to backtrack, the train
will hit you at the very beginning of the bridge. Question: how fast is the
train traveling relative to you?

I've got brand new copy of Windows 98 for the first person to give the
correct answer with explanation!
