Hello all you J. D. Salinger fans.  I'm new on the Bananafish list so
I decided to take this opportunity to introduce myself.  My name is
Hilary and I am a student in Louisiana.  I read "The Catcher in the
Rye" the summer before 9th grade and I absolutely LOVED it. Since then
I haven't found a Salinger book or story I didn't like.  I think one
of my favorite things about Salinger's work is that he is such a
describtive writer.   I am doing my research paper on Characterization
in his stories so if any of you have any suggestions, comments, etc.
please send them to me!  Thanks!
