On the topic of rock n roll bands...there is a band called the Wynona Riders
who have an LP out called "J.D. Salinger", the cover of is a mock of the "The
Catcher in The Rye" cover (the edition with the marroon w/ gold lettering).
Also Green Day has an old song called "Who Wrote Holden Caufield?" and
Screeching Weasel has a response song call "I wrote Holden Caufield".
