I'm new, but naive...
I'm new, but I'm listening...
(Sounds like some REALLY bad lyrics, huh?)
Oh well: I'm new, but I've been reading some of the e-mail I've been 
getting, and it's helped a lot.
You see, I chose to research J.D. Salinger for my senior English paper.  
I've got a thesis statement about three miles long... I know nothing 
about what is acceptable to post, nor what questions I should ask... 
>From reading what I have, though, I have the feeling this is going to 
either help me or leave me feeling like I'm in some way terribly 
inadequate.  
If there's anyone out there that's been where I'm headed, let me know 
how the water is out here...
