A few days ago I finished re-reading the entire "Nine Stories"... When I first
read it I read it in English, and I remember thinking that Teddy and DDSBP
was no good... Recently I bought a Danish translation, and this time around
I loved DDSBP...

I´ve never really tried to analyze these stories, I just liked the atmosphere
I felt in them... But being on this list has made me more conscient about certain
things (and I want to thank you all for that)...

For instance - whenever feet was mentioned (and that is quite a lot) I kept
thinking about the discussion we had on that...

One subject that has always interested me, especially in the Glass-stories,
are the religious stuff... I´m not very religious myself, but still...

In what way is the woman in the window an epiphany???

Paul McCartney is a fan of him, and used a drawing of his as coverpic of
his 1989 single "Figure of Eight"... I have an edition where the same pic
is etched 8 times in the vinyl on the b-side...

Paul also produced a short film based on his work, and wrote the score for
that... The film is called "Daumier´s Law"...
